Montly Skin Care Routine ALL SKIN TYPES

Setting up a monthly skin care schedule is to give that extra love to your skin. Regardless of skin type our skin care needs are divided into daily, weekly and monthly. Choose the products according to your skin type that prevents skin irritation. Following this skin care routine once in a month will make your skin brighter, youthful and removes dirt and oil from clogged pores.







CLEANSING:


Cleansing is the first step to a beautiful skin. Always wash your hands before cleansing your face. Choose a cleanser to your skin type. Splash some water on your face and lather your product with lukewarm water. Massage gently in circular movements along your face and neck. Do it for 2-3 mins
and rinse well.





TONE:


Toning is an important part of cleansing process.Choose a toner without alcohol which can dry your skin. Take a cotton pad and pour few drops on it. Dab it on face and neck. Toner soothes and nourishes skin. A good toner removes dirt and impurities that are left behind cleanser. Toner hydrates the skin and restores its delicate pH balance.







EXFOLIATE:

Exfoliate your skin at least twice a week. Exfoliation helps in removing off the complexion-dulling dead skin cells. It provides glow to the skin and minimizes hyper-pigmentation. It helps in removal of tan and increases cell turnover to newer and healthier skin cells. Take your favourite scrub and gently massage with it on your face and neck for 2-3 mins and leave it on for 5 mins. Rinse with luke warm water.







STEAM:

Steam helps to open your pores and removes excess oil and dirt. Steam helps in the improvement of
blood circulation. It softens and moisturizes the skin. You can buy a facial steamer or just simply fill a saucepan with hot water. You can add few drops of essential oil to it. Cover your face with towel and stay close to the saucepan. Steam for 5 mins.




MASSAGE:

Massage is a general form of pressing, rubbing, long strokes and manipulating your skin. A regular skin care routine with gentle massage are proven to improve skin complexion. Apply less pressure around your eye area and more pressure towards your cheeks and facial contours. You can massage your face twice a week. Take some Massage cream or few drops of olive,coconut,almond oil or any essential oils. Choose your finger tips for a gentle form of massage.






 PACK:


Applying face pack helps to tighten and increases the firmness of the skin. It gives a relaxing and refreshing feeling. Now, choose a face pack according to your individual needs. If you have dry skin opt for more hydrating packs. If you are having oily skin choose a mask which draws out dirt and excess oils. Apply the pack and leave it on for 20 mins and wash off with lukewarm water.









MOISTURIZE:

Double moisturize your skin daily. Moisturizing your face daily can help your skin to look healthy and young. It increases the elasticity of the skin and keeps it hydrated. Don't apply any type of lotion on your face, choose only a moisturizer that is specially made for your skin type. Apply the moisturizer when your face is still slightly damp. Gently apply it in upward strokes. By daily moisturizing your face you can see benefits over time.





SUNSCREEN:

Always protect your skin from harmful sun rays. Exposure to sun can cause discoloration and sun burn. It is important to apply sunscreen with an spf of 30 or higher about 15 mins before you step outside. This protects your skin from harmful radiation. You can also cover your face with scarf or use umbrella for extra protection.
